The Morgan 4/4 is a timeless British sports car - it is a comfortable drive but the hirer should acknowledge that certain vehicles may handle differently from other more modern vehicles and confirms they are comfortable entering and operating the vehicle provided.

For hirer and company peace of mind the following is required to comply with our insurers:

All drivers must :

• Be aged between 23 and 75 years old
• Hold a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years
• Have had no licence suspensions within the previous 3 years
• Have had no more than one fault claim within the previous 3 years
• Have no more than two motoring convictions with a maximum of 3 points per conviction
• Not hold any BA, DD or UT convictions

Please contact hello@thatchandthrottle.com if you are outside of any requirements e.g. 76 or 22 years old, single 6 point offence or have an international license as it may be possible we can refer to our insurers to create an exception.

Prior to vehicle collection, all drivers must provide:

• A clear photo of the front and back of their valid UK driving licence

• A DVLA check code generated online - https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence

• Clear photos of two proofs of address matching the licence address

Proofs of address must be dated within 90 days of the hire date unless an annual council tax bill is provided within the current tax year.

Accepted proof of address documents include:

• Broadband or landline bill
• Council tax statement
• TV licence
• Bank statement
• Credit card statement
• Mortgage statement
• Polling card
• HMRC self-assessment or tax credit correspondence

All UK licence holders are required to complete the DVLA licence check prior to hire for insurance verification purposes

Before your booking, you will need to provide:
• A DVLA check code generated online at - https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence

To generate your code, the driver will need:
• Their driving licence number
• Their National Insurance number
• Their postcode

DVLA check codes are valid for 21 days.

All required documents should be submitted to hello@thatchandthrottle.com or +44 7428 486828 (with booking detail), at least 48 hours before the hire period to allow verification and insurance approval.

Failure to provide full and valid documentation before the hire period will void insurance and result in cancellation without refund.
